If you’ve ever watched Hot Ones on YouTube and thought, “I could handle that,” now’s your chance to prove it.
Good Co. Bars is teaming up with Gladstone Hot Sauce to bring a flaming-hot food showdown to the heart of downtown. On Saturday, June 7th, brave contestants will face off in a Hot Ones-style spicy wing challenge at Good Co. Granville, and it promises to be one of the most unforgettable (and uncomfortable) afternoons of the summer.
From 3PM to 5PM, Vancouverites will gather for this fiery test of willpower, featuring increasingly spicy wings, over-the-top reactions, and a lot of sweating—all in the name of glory, good times, and great hot sauce.
The Format: Ten Wings. Ten Levels. No Mercy.
Inspired by the viral Hot Ones series, the challenge will push participants through ten rounds of wings, each coated in a progressively spicier sauce.

The dreaded Da Bomb, a notorious sauce that has crushed countless internet celebs

There’ll be prizes for those who survive the full gauntlet, along with plenty of street cred (and likely some regrettable Instagram stories).
Spice level aside, this is a high-energy spectator event, think red faces, loud cheers, and a whole lot of “don’t touch your eyes!”
