Our city of Vancouver has officially turned 125 years old today! It was originally incorporated April 6, 1886 and has definitely come a long way – and what better then the hometown Canucks sitting on top of of the league in our favorite game! This has definitely been a good year for all Vancouver & 604 citizens.
If you’ve got free time today, or happen to be downtown, he city is celebrating the occasion with a free party at Jack Poole plaza on the Coal Harbour waterfront(where the Olympic flame is) It will be a fun event that includes DJs, food, special musical performances and an official lighting of the Olympic cauldron and of course a GIANT birthday cake!
