If you decide to break the laws of the road, be prepared to pay up. Constable Ken Usipiuk of the Delta Police Traffic Section tweeted a photo of a violation ticket he handed out to a truck driver on Tuesday morning.

“Driver should have actually done a pre-trip this morning :( Traffic is a nightmare westbound Highway 17” reads the tweet.
The driver was fined $598 for having no insurance on the tractor truck and another $598 for not having insurance on the trailer. Police also fined the driver $109 for an incomplete pre-trip check.
Just last week, the Delta Police Traffic Unit were out on Highway 17 and handed out nearly $10,000 worth violation tickets in just one day.
