The first of TransLink’s new Canada Line cars are being shipped to Vancouver from Korea. The new trains are expected to arrive within the next couple of weeks.
The larger fleet will allow for more frequent service and space for additional passengers. This is just the first shipment, with 11 more planned to arrive over the next year.
In total, the $88-million investment includes 12 new Canada Line trains (24 cars).

And in 2018, there were more than 48-million boardings in total on the Canada Line.
