Translink released special compass cards to commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday this year and the resale value has skyrocketed online.

Last year the limited edition cards were selling for only $6 at the stations and are currently re-selling at over ten times the value online. The original sale saw droves of people waiting in lines to take advantage of the exciting new design.

Only 20,000 of these unique cards were produced, but some Translink riders say that they’ve been able to purchase them at select stations on the Canada Line.

If you are looking to get your hands on one of these hot tickets, picking one up at a station would be considerably cheaper. If that fails Craigslist has them for sale at roughly $60 – $75 per card, making the cost considerably higher than the original $6 price tag.
