All flyers have been there. We’re sitting in a plane while it fly’s over a city at night. The city lights make the aerial view look amazing but it’s hard to see much from the passenger windows. One of the benefits of being a pilot is flying to and over beautiful cities with a first class view.
The footage below is from a Boeing 767 preparing for landing in Vancouver. Just before touch down, you get an amazing look at downtown Vancouver from the cockpit and a behind the scenes look at how pilots prepare for a safe landing.
