Sporting Life, a Toronto-based sporting goods retailer, has opened it’s newest location in Burnaby’s Brentwood Mall.
The store, Vancouver’s first, opened earlier this month and it’s nothing to sneeze at, coming in at approximately 44,000 square-feet.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, a few comparison might help. Some refer to Sporting Life as “the Nordstrom for sports apparel.” Others call it a “high-end Sport-Chek.” The truth is probably somewhere in between.
Vancouver is a pretty outdoorsy city, and according to Sporting Life, their new Brentwood Mall location “celebrates the best in sports, fashion, and the west coast lifestyle.”
Here’s a look inside.
All the big-name brands you’d expect, such as Canada Goose, Arc’teryx, and Nike, are all present.
Additionally, in terms of equipment, there’s Burton, Salomon, Volkl, Cannondale, and much more.
The store comes as part of a transformation Brentwood Mall continues to undergo. Once complete, “The Amazing Brentwood” is expected to surpass 28 acres, consisting of retailers, restaurants, and residential units.
