Vancouver Beaches
English Bay

English Bay is easily Vancouver’s most popular beach and it’s changed quite a bit over the years. This photo of lifeguards is from 1936.

Of course, everyone knows about the annual Polar Bear Swim at English Bay to ring in the New Year. This is what’s happening in this photo, taken in 1986.

Kits Beach

Check out the iconic bath house at Kitsilano Beach back in 1964.

Jericho Beach
