Vancouver has a lot of beautiful beaches, with some more popular than others. One beautiful beach that receives less attention but has a lot to offer is Locarno Beach. LB is located in the West Point Grey neighbourhood, between Jericho Beach and the Spanish Banks beaches on Northwest Marine Dr between Discovery St and Tolmie St.
Although Locarno Beach is designated as one of Vancouver’s “quiet beaches” the park area nearby is popular with families having picnics and barbecues in the summertime. The best part? free parking!
