On Saturday morning, Environment Canada issued a wind warning for Metro Vancouver and it’s been a problem for boats at English Bay.
Strong northwest winds gusting up to 80 km/h have been hammering the region throughout the day.

As result of the strong winds, several boats have even washed up on the rocks at English Bay.

Winds will slowly weaken through the afternoon and later this evening.
As a result of this windstorm, local power outages and downed trees are possible.
