Vancouver’s cocktail scene is levelling up this holiday season.
Five of the city’s most celebrated bars, Botanist Bar, The Keefer Bar, Laowai, Meo, and June / LaLa are joining forces for the first-ever Sip into the Season holiday cocktail crawl. And yes, it runs all month long.
From December 1 to 25, guests can stop by each location to try a signature holiday cocktail crafted exclusively for the crawl. Anyone who completes the festive circuit and posts their cocktails to Instagram will be entered to win a one-night suite stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, plus extra prizes.
A Festive Collaboration Across Five Iconic Bars
“December is one of the busiest times of the year for all of us behind the bar,” says Grant Sceney, Creative Beverage Director at Fairmont Pacific Rim. “While we can’t be shaking drinks side-by-side, ‘Sip into the Season’ invites the community to share festive spirits with our industry friends.”
Each participating bar has created one standout drink from its seasonal menu. Here’s a taste of what’s pouring this year.

Botanist Bar: “Sleigh All Day”
Christmas pudding gin, aged rum, red wine, winter spices, black tea, citrus
The Keefer Bar: “Quick Draw”
Lot 40 rye, sarsaparilla amaro, lemon, milk-clarified, vanilla mochi
Laowai: “Via Galaxie”
Amaro Montenegro, Ardbeg Wee Beastie, raspberry, milk oolong, lemon juice
Meo: “Gingerbread Old Fashioned”
Calvados, gingerbread cordial, aromatic bitters, gingerbread cookie
June: “Noisette Manhattan”
Brown-butter Suntory Toki whisky, Pere Magloire Calvados, vermouth, Champagne gomme, bitters
These cocktails spotlight each bar’s approach to holiday flavours, from cozy spice to playful, innovative twists.
How to Enter the Contest
Taking part is simple, and each valid Instagram story counts as an entry.
1. Order a festive cocktail at any participating bar.
2. Snap a photo of your drink.
3. Post it to Instagram and tag: @botanistdining,v@juneoncambie,v@meochinatown, @thekeeferbar, @whereislaowai
And don’t forget the official hashtag: #sipintotheseason.
Winners will be selected at random after December 25, 2025.
