Two weeks ahead of the premiere of Stars VII, the force will Awaken in the Pacific Coliseum as the Vancouver Giants unveil their new Star Wars jerseys.
Approved by Lucasfilm Ltd. ©, the Vancouver Giants will sport Star Wars Storm Trooper jerseys as they take on the Kootenay Ice on Friday, December, 4 at 7:30pm.
In addition to the Storm Troopers on the ice, other Star Wars characters will also make an appearance at the game, with strong hints that Darth Vader will be one of them.
Following the game, the Star Wars Storm Trooper jerseys will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Shriners of BC and Yukon and their work with Shriners Hospitals for Children.
“We’re thrilled that we will be able to host this great event for our fans while also benefitting a very worthy cause,” said Giants Vice President, Business Development Dale Saip. “The Shriners Hospitals help children around the world, and it’s an honour for our hockey club to be able to work with the Shriners to help kids in our province.”
