The Vancouver-based data analytics company has created some handy maps to help you find the hottest spots for the best candy this Halloween, if you decide to trick-or-treating.

And if you’re unsure about how much candy you should be buying to hand out this year, there’s a map for that, too!

According to the map below, East Vancouver will most likely be a hot-spot for trick-or-treating this Halloween. The area has the most dense population of children between the ages of 5-14 per kilometre.

The map also suggest that residents of Surrey and Vancouver’s Dunbar and Sunset neighbourhoods will be slammed with costumed children hopping door-to-door, so be sure to prepare yourself for the trick-or-treating apocalypse by stocking up on lots of candy.

Although the maps are meant to give parents some insight on the best places to take their little ones this Halloween, it is important to support your own neighbourhood, as well.

Look for houses that display lots of creepy decorations or have a well-lit walkway – these homeowners want to attract trick-or-treaters and will most likely supply the best goodies.

Whichever neighbourhood you decide to knock around, be sure to bundle up and bring umbrellas – Vancouver will be dressed up as its usual Rain Cloud for the evening.
