B.C. RCMP busted someone for selling more than 1,500 illegal COVID-19 tests online.

RCMP acted on a tip from the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. They were being sold by a Richmond resident who got them without authorization.

“Authorized COVID-19 tests provide accurate and reliable results, whereas unauthorized tests may lead to potential misdiagnosis,” stated an RCMP release.

No charges have been laid, but RCMP said the person had sold “very little,” so far. They advise anyone who has used unauthorized COVID-19 tests, to stop immediately.

The results may not be accurate and it’s best to consult your doctor if you have any health concerns.
