It’s not hard to see why this place is so magical, with its lush trails, rugged coastline, sandstone and a majestic waterfall.
Sandcut Beach is a 4.5-hour trek from Vancouver, but it is well worth the trip. Reach the beach after a scenic 10-minute walk through the forest filled with giant Douglas Fir, cedar and spruce trees. Once you arrive you will be able to walk along the water, search for rocks and take in the incredible sandstone waterfall.
If the weather is warm enough, it’s also a great spot to go for a dip. They even have an awesome rope you can swing from near the waterfall to bring out your inner child.
