Saanich Police Looking For Suspect Who Sexually Assaulted Vancouver Woman

Saanich Police are looking for a suspect who sexually assaulted a 22-year-old Metro Vancouver woman, who was visiting her friend.

The incident occurred in the 3900 block of Wolf Street in the Gordon Head area of Saanich on Sunday, March 17th. At around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, an unknown man entered an unlocked townhouse and sexually assaulted the woman.

The victim describes the suspect as being tall with short blonde hair. He was athletic looking, with dark pants and a dark long sleeve shirt. He may also have been wearing glasses.

Detectives and Forensic Identification officers are currently working on the case. Despite police reporting that the victim was sexually assaulted, she was not physically injured.

Police are reassuring the public that they’re not at any danger.

“This is a very serious and equally uncommon crime for our area, but we want to reassure you that our investigators are working around the clock to solve it” said Sgt. Julie Fast, Public Information Officer for the Saanich Police.
