Ice Skating
There’s nothing more romantic skating hand-in-hand with your partner, and Metro Vancouver has plenty of opportunities for you to do that. While you could hit up one of the city’s many community centres, there’s also a bunch of free ice rinks that you can glide along on.
First up is one of Vancouver’s most popular spots– Robson Square Ice Rink. Located in the heart of downtown, this location offers pretty city views and good vibes. Skating is totally free for those who bring their own skates, but rentals are also offered at a small fee of $5.
Some other free or minimal fee ice rinks are at North Vancouver Shipyards ($8) and Surrey Civic Plaza ($5).
