RCMP Need Help Finding Suspect Who Tripped 84-Year-Old Burnaby Woman (VIDEO)

Police are seeking help in identifying a suspect who tripped an 84-year-old woman on Central Boulevard near Metrotown Skytrain Station.

Burnaby RCMP have released a video, from April 3rd, showing the suspect approaching an elderly woman and tripping her.

“While the suspect’s face is not clear in the video, police are hopeful that those who know the suspect may recognize something from the video that will assist us in identifying her,” reads the RCMP statement.

The victim was not seriously injured, but shaken from what happened.

RCMP describe the suspect as a female, possibly of Asian descent, with dark brown hair.

She was wearing a face mask, black tights and a long dark puffy jacket, with light shoes. The woman was also carrying a beige purse.

Burnaby RCMP have asked the public to contact them with any information on the incident.
