Outdoor enthusiasts will be happy to know that Vancouver is getting a new spot to soak up the fresh air. The new and improved Renfrew Ravine Park is set to open next week.

Vancouver Park Board says the Renfrew Ravine has been updated to include better trails, parking lot upgrades, a new boardwalk and an off-leash dog park.

It has lots of new trails and previous trails have been improved by repaving and widening the pathways.

The park is nestled north of the 29th Avenue SkyTrain Station in East Vancouver. The area is home to the pristine Still Creek Ravine—one of Vancouver’s only ravines.

The new boardwalk takes people right into the serene habitat of Still Creek.
