Vancouver may not have gotten a white Christmas this year, but there’s still a chance of snow on the horizon, predicts the weather forecast.

Much of this week calls for rain, with up to 35 mm of it on each of Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday will lighten up, with just a chance of showers and mostly sun.

But on Thursday, there may be a mix of rain and snow. There is a “high confidence that heavy rain and snow will impact the region,” The Weather Network states.

The Vancouver weather forecast predicts there will be 2-4 mm of rain with about a cm of snow on the ground. Temperatures will sit at 4 degrees, but feel like 0 degrees.

Friday returns to rain with up to 40 mm of wet weather and will remain at 4 degrees.

Other parts of B.C. are still dealing with heavy snow, as there was an avalanche warning for the Sea-to-Sky region last week, alongside highway closures during Christmas.
