We’re about half-way through November already! Christmas events will reach full-swing beginning next weekend, but if you want to get in on the action early, there’s already some Christmas-y things to do in and around Metro Vancouver this weekend.

St. Paul’s Lights of Hope 2019
About: St. Paul’s Hospital’s Lights of Hope event returns as part of a 22-year tradition that sees over 200 lights cover the exterior of the hospital. In support of the campaign, Vancouver landmarks like Science World, Telus Garden and BC Place Stadium, will light up simultaneously.

About: One of the longest-running Christmas events in B.C., Christmas at Hycroft Mansion returns once more with over 17,000 square-feet of vendors spread across multiple floors to explore.

About: We’re getting (kinda) close to Christmas, and if you’re already thinking about decorations, this might be the perfect place to start. The store is 28,000 square-feet, making it the biggest in British Columbia. Santa himself may or may not be there.

Disney+ Streaming Service Launch

About: Entertainment giant Disney officially joined the “Streaming Wars” this week with their new service, Disney+. The service launches with a library of 300+ classic and new Disney properties, including The Simpsons, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars, Pixar, and not to mention classic Disney movies.
