Iron Maiden Plane Vancouver

Heavy metal band Iron Maiden stole the show at YVR on Saturday afternoon when their enormous Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet safely landed in Vancouver ahead of their The Book of Souls tour stop at Rogers Arena Sunday evening.

The plane is notorious for carrying band members, gear, crew, and most of all for their pilot: Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden’s lead vocalist who proudly has a commercial pilot’s license.

The plane is currently being loaned from Air Atlanta is referred to as Ed Force One, named after the band’s mascot Eddie the Head whose face is painted on the Boeing jet’s tail.
