There’s an epic new hangout spot in town—and it’s all about Cuban-inspired cocktails. Tocador just opened their doors and they’re serving up some refreshing and tropical drinks at a colourful location on Main Street.
When you first walk in you’ll feel like you’ve traveled in time to Cuba, with the vibrant décor and beautiful artwork adorning the walls.
This is Bird Conspiracy. There is a story behind the name but I won’t go into it that now! Gin infused with coconut oil, house made lavender syrup and cardamom bitters, white vermouth, fresh lemon and of course a paper straw, no plastic straws here! Who knows, maybe you can try it yourself next week…
Sip on a variety of cocktails including: Mojitos, Mai Tai’s, Daiquiris, rum flights and their signature Bird Conspiracy (gin infused with coconut oil, house-made lavender syrup and cardamom bitters, white vermouth and fresh lemon).
As far as eats go, they’re offering seafood, Cuban-style fries and of course—classic Cuban sandwiches. Sink your teeth into a smoked ham sandwich with mustard, Swiss cheese, dill pickle and lechon asada inside a house-made Cuban roll. They also have vegetarian and vegan options available with jackfruit.
Good morning Vancouver!! If you haven’t already come in to try one, here is one of our Cubano sandwiches to tempt you: smoked ham, lechon asado, dill pickle, house mustard and swiss cheese layered in a proper, housemade Cuban roll that gets pressed to order on a plancha. Vegan or Vegetarian? Don’t worry! We do a version that subs in braised jackfruit for the pork and it’s delicious if we don’t say so ourselves
Tocador is nestled in the heart of Mount Pleasant, at the venue that used to house Charlie’s Little Italian. It sits at a popular spot amongst many other lively Main Street eateries, including Cascade Room.
