The 102nd Grey Cup Festival kicks off Wednesday November 26th with a very west coast Grey Cup arrival, followed by four days of Festival activities to celebrate Canadian football, spirit and culture.Not since 2010 have we hosted a sporting event of this size with folks from across the country flocking to Vancouver to join the action. Vancouver won’t host its next Grey Cup event until 2023 so festival organizers are encouraging the lower mainland to join the festivities and show the country Vancouver knows how to host a party!
The 4-day Festival will take place November 27-30 with the Vancouver Convention Centre and Jack Poole Plaza serving as the main Grey Cup Festival headquarters.
The Red Truck Tailgate Concert Series features three nights and three genres of music plus a beer garden. Thursday, The Peak stage welcomes local band Hey Ocean! with Family of the Year and the Gay Nineties; Friday, the JRFM stage brings us Tim Hicks, Tebey and One More Girl; and Saturday, Rock 101 wraps the concert series with Trooper, 54-40, and Sass Jordan.
