WARNING: This story might hit you hard in the feels. Two blind cat siblings at Vancouver’s cat-themed cafe, Catoro, are currently up for adoption.
The new cafe opened up earlier this summer and works with Cat Therapy & Rescue Society to help these felines find a new home.
The concept for Catoro Cafe is based on the 1980’s Japanese animation “My Neighbour Totoro”. With that being said, one side of the business is dedicated to serving bubble tea and waffle desserts.
The other side has a cat petting area where patrons can pay an admission to come and spend time with rescue cats and potentially adopt one if they are the right fit.
Stevie and Wonder are the two blind cat siblings currently up for adoption. (Stevie and Wonder. Get it?)
“Stevie is a very curious and energetic boy. He loves to explore everything around him, and uses his voice to let you know where he is” reads their website.
“Wonder is a sweet and quiet boy who is more timid than his brother”.
If you’d like to see these kitties for yourself, all you have to do is visit the cafe on a drop-in basis, or book your appointment online.
