Bald Eagles Feasting Upclose in Deroche, BC (Video)

Each year bald eagles migrate to the Fraser Valley during the fall season to feast on delicious fish carcasses. The small town of Deroche, British Columbia provides great catches for these majestic birds of prey and a great chance to observe them in their natural environment.

The tiny community of Deroche can be found on BC Highway 7 between Mission and Harrison Mills. It’s known as a farming and railway community on the Canadian Pacific Railway. The CPR station is named after an early settler who still has descendants living in the area with a population of 126 after the 2011 census.
