Cock-a-doodle-doo!
Within the past few months, Stanley Park has had orcas swim by, a deer move in, and now it’s newest resident may be a rooster..
Instagram user guia_vancouver spotted a rooster in front of Stanley Park’s famous hollow tree, a 700-800 year old attraction which is situated along the west side of Stanley Park drive.
The story behind the rooster is unknown, but it’s safe to say Stanley Park will not be a safe place for the rooster, if it chooses to stay. The park is known to be home to a family of coyotes, and has had cougar sightings in the past, with the most recent in 2014.
