Tomorrow is the last day that residents of Metro Vancouver may register for the free Loblaw $25 gift card.
The Canadian grocery chain includes numerous big name suppliers such as The Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, and Extra Foods.
Launched in January, the Loblaw Card Program aims to rectify the damages incurred by customers that purchased bread from the retailer – the grocer admits to taking part in a bread-price fixing scandal for over 14 years.
In addition, many customers feel that having to fill in an online form providing details including name and address is invasive.
Nevertheless, Tuesday, May 8th, marks the final day that Canadians may register online to get the free card.
Also, Loblaw adds that “Registering for and obtaining the $25 Loblaw Card will not affect customers’ right to participate in any class action or to receive any incremental compensation that may be awarded by the court.”
Many customers have already received their cards in the mail.
