With this opening, three new family rides will make their debut:

The Bug Whirled: This ride spins you through a magical land on the new coaster ride (must be 36” to ride; riders between 36” – 48” must be accompanied by an adult)

Flutterbye: Get ready to soar to the clouds then back down to the ground flapping your wings (must be 36” to ride; riders between 36” – 48” must be accompanied by an adult)

Dizzy Drop: This ride takes you to high altitudes, shooting up to the sky then taking the plunge back down (must be 38” to ride; riders 38” – 42” must be accompanied by an adult)

The combined value of the new rides is a $1.8 million investment

All three rides will be placed inside the park’s “Kids Playce” area.

Both Flutterbye and Bur Whirled have work designed and built by Chilliwack company, Imagination Corporation.

Well-known rides such as The Beast, Hellevator, and the Wooden Roller Coaster will also be returning to Playland once again.

For the 19+ crowds, Playland has announced that every Friday during the month of July the park will be hosting a series of adult only evenings. More details will be available at a later time.

Playland passes are available now to buy online.
