Vancouver Alternative Rock Band Finds Success in 2nd Album

Waiting For Sunday released their second album “The Windsor Effect” at the end of last year as a follow up to their 2011 debut.  The musically inclined foursome and Vancouver-based rock band blends seamlessly and complements well.

The gang of four consists of producer and industrial rock drummer Colin Everall, indie-rock singer Dan Hudson, jazzy-bassist Micrea Tracke and classic rock lead guitarist Matt Gauld. Together, there is an indie-alternative rock sound to be heard.

The music video for “The Love Is Gone”, the third track off the album, garnered a few accolades from film festivals and competitions this year: Director’s Choice – Best Music Video at Rincon International Film Festival, Platinum Remi (MV Production) at WorldFest, Houston International Film Festival, Gold Kahuna at Honolulu International Film Festival and Award of Merit at The Accolade Global Film Competition. It was also an official selection at FilmQuest 2016.

To further celebrate the music video, it was included as a free bonus DVD single with the first 100 CD orders of the album.

While the awards recognize the rock quartet’s visual creativity, the track itself showcases their overall tone and temperedness. It’s also a standout from the 12 track album which offers an evolving musically swayed experience. You might hear a distinct West Coast tempo and appreciate soulful lyrics and thoughtful instrument play:
