About a 2-hour drive from Vancouver, just west of Whistler in the Callaghan Valley sits Conflict Lake. There you can find a 12km round-trip summer hike through forests and meadows. The hike takes up to 5 hours and has intermediate difficulty. When covered in winter snow the area makes for a great snowshoe trail as well! Check out what Conflict Lake has to offer in this scenic video by Vancouver Trails:
“The hike to Conflict Lake starts near Callaghan Lake up a rugged gravel road in the Callaghan Valley. The trail passes the Journeyman Lodge and a longer hike can be done to Ring Lake.”
Visit the Conflict Lake information page by Vancouver Trails for more information about the hiking trail such as its ecology, how to get there and camping locations.
