Expo 86 was a World’s Fair held in Vancouver from Friday, May 2, 1986 through October, 13, 1986. In short, the fair was a celebration of Vancouver’s 100th anniversary and was celebrated in style for six months on the north shore of False Creek.
This was the second time Canada held a World’s Fair (Montreal was first with Expo 67). Expo 86 was listed as a specialized exhibition, which reflected on transportation and communications.
