The Walking Dead fans saw Carl Grimes, played by Chandler Riggs, grow up on in a world full of zombies. Now the 19-year-old actor from Atlanta finds himself in another dramatic role on ABC’s A Million Little Things. The family dramedy may not be a horror show but is an emotional roller coaster of a ride nonetheless.

The pilot filmed in Vancouver last March followed by production for Season 1 which started that summer. Filming for Season 1 wrapped up earlier this month with the season finale slated to air February 28th.
After his pivotal departure from The Walking Dead, the young actor found himself unemployed for nearly a year. His guest role on A Million Little Things will mark his return to the small screen and may lead to a recurring role as the show has been renewed for a second season.

Riggs will make his first appearance on A Million Little Things on the February 21 episode titled “The Rosary“. That’s the 16th episode of season, which is followed by the season finale the week after.
His character PJ meets Rome, played by Romany Malco, and they have an impact on each other. Both come from rough time in the past as Rome is battling depression and an attempted suicide by going to therapy.

The actor is also known for being an electronic music DJ.
Vancouver is no stranger to TWD alum as Sarah Wayne Callies, who played Lori Grimes, shot the 5th season of Prison Break here as well as the third and final season of Colony.
