This is the final weekend before Halloween, and there are so many fun things to see and do in Metro Vancouver.
While the forecast shows a bit more rain than usual, we’re hoping for some sunny breaks, with rainfall staying below last week’s record levels. For those seeking shelter from the showers, there are plenty of indoor haunted houses and events to enjoy while staying dry.

Things to do in Vancouver this weekend
Diwali Fest (FREE)
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a major Hindu celebration symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. It is one of the most popular event in the Indian calendar.
In Metro Vancouver, there will be 3 events held by Diwali Fest, with the last one being held this weekend in Vancouver to celebrate the occasion. They will have live performances, music, crafts, a market and more.

Halloween Fireworks in Burnaby (FREE)

The spooky season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by joining the festivities at Central Park’s newest signature event, Central Spark! This family-friendly Halloween extravaganza promises an evening filled with fun and excitement for all.
Attendees can look forward to lively dance party. There will be a DJ, food trucks, spooky entertainment, a dazzling drone light display, and a spectacular fireworks finale at 7:30 pm.

Museum of Surrey Boo-seum Halloween Party (FREE)

A call out to families and young explorers – you are invited to the Museum of Surrey’s annual BOO-Seum Halloween Party.
A spooktacular adventure that’s both fun and free. Guests can enjoy music from DJ Pacific Sound Entertainment, a costume parade led by Out of Rain Characters, and catering from Meet2Eat. As well as activities like a thaumatrope creepy craft, Boo Bingo, and a costume selfie station.

Spooktacular Halloween Market – Surrey
Spooktacular Halloween Market is back for its 7th spooky season this October 26. This energetic market is the biggest local Halloween Market around. Costumes are encouraged by all and there are several photo display opportunities.

Originally opened in 1971, Stardust was a local favorite until it closed in 2005. This September, you can skate again at the new 1,690-square-foot rink in Guildford Town Centre, which blends the nostalgic charm of the original with a retro vibe.
