Explore the mysteries of Fort Langley’s past in a safe, engaging environment—perfect for young history enthusiasts!
Participants can join expert storytellers for a two- or three-hour journey filled with spine-tingling tales as they stroll through the Fort Langley village under the cover of night.
Grave Tales offers four distinct tours for different age groups, each featuring unique themes and storytelling styles. Each tour offers an incredible opportunity to experience the rich and eerie history of Fort Langley, with knowledgeable guides leading the way and providing insights into stories of old.

Youth Grave Tales (age 8 to 17)
The Youth Grave Tales, designed for ages 8 to 17, provides a thrilling but age-appropriate journey into the past.
When & Where: October 17, 24, tours start at 6:30 pm
Cost: $24.58. Age: 8 years + (Youth must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years)
Spirit of the Place (18 years +)
For adults, the Spirit of the Place (18 years +) takes participants on a journey exploring the legends, mysteries, and spirits that linger in Fort Langley. For this tour, minimal walking is involved, as most of the tour takes place indoors or around the outdoor fire pit (weather permitting).
When & Where: Fridays, October 4, 11, 18, 25, Saturdays, October 5, 19, 26 & Sundays, October 6, 13, 20, 27 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Graves of the Tradesmen (18 year+)
The Graves of the Tradesmen tour sheds light on the history and stories of the people who helped build the community.
Explore the lives and stories of the Hudson’s Bay Company employees who helped shape the history of the fort. This tour involves approximately 4 km of walking, so please prepare accordingly. Meet at the Fort Langley National Historic Site Visitor Center; free parking is available.
When & Where: Fridays, October 4, 11, 18, 25, Saturdays, October 5, 19, 26 & Sundays, October 6, 13, 20, 27 from 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Descent into Darkness (18 years+)
The Descent into Darkness tour dives deeper into chilling tales of love, murder, and even hair-raising amputations.
This 4 km walking tour through the Village of Fort Langley delves into mature topics, including suicide, murder, and historical medical practices.
When & Where: Fridays, October 4, 11, 18, Saturdays, October 5, 19, 26 & Sundays, October 6, 13, 20, 27, from 9:00 pm – 12:00 am
