Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Whether you’re watching the animated TV special, or the live-action Jim Carrey version doesn’t matter. This film, based on the Dr. Suess children’s book, will always have the story of the Grinch, his dog Max and Whos of Whoville at Christmastime.

This 2003 film stars Will Ferrel as a human raised by Santa’s elves who ventures out to find his birth father in New York City.

 

A Christmas Carol

Charles Dicken’ novel of the same name has been adapted into many different films. Old Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Christmas Yet to Come before he is able to experience the joy of the season and what he is truly missing in his life. The 2009 animated version, with the voice of Jim Carrey as Scrooge, is the most recent of this classic story.

 

Mickey’s Christmas Carol

If you’re looking for more animation, check out the Disney short film based on A Christmas Carol, but starring everyone’s favourite Disney characters.
