Vancouver may be having a White Christmas after all.
Environment Canada issued a a special weather statement on Monday, December 18th that there is a chance of snow on Tuesday, December 19th. While Monday will only see some rainy periods, the temperature will dip down to 3°C on Tuesday. Owing this, there will be a mix of rain and snow, but there will be a local snowfall amount 4 cm over higher terrain.
Delta and Surrey woke up to a surprise snowfall in Early November, but there hasn’t been a great deal of the white stuff in the lower mainland this year.

The temperature will drop down to 0°C over Tuesday night, and the skies will clear up. As a result, Wednesday will be sunny without any precipitation and things will warm up to 4°C. Due to the clear skies, the weather will drop down to -1°C overnight. Consequently, Thursday may also see some snow mixed with rain and temperatures will drop to -4°C during the night.
The weather is predicated to be bright and sunny for the rest of the weekend; however, the nights are very cold. Saturday night the temperature may drop to a startling -9°C.
