Travelling To Japan
Japan is one of Canada’s more popular travel destinations. Just in 2024, approximately 580,000 Canadians flew overseas to visit the country– a record-breaking high.

Flights From Vancouver To Tokyo
Currently, roundtrip tickets are priced at an average of $780 to $1,300; and if you’re flying during a more popular time, you could be paying $1,600 for the lowest-cost ticket. This deal is instead specifically for one-way, direct tickets. Which, when purchased separately, can run you well below $900.
You’ll be able to find these tickets through ZipAir, Japan’s first medium and long-haul international low-cost carrier. As of January 21, tickets cost only $320 when booked through Kiwi.com, and are one-way, direct from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Narita International Airport (NRT). According to Google Flights, this is $155 cheaper than usual!
These prices were found through Google Flights from mid to late February. While ZIPAIR is technically a budget airline, it’s a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, so you’re in good hands with them.
Prices are subject to fluctuations, so it’s best to get those tickets while you can. Amazing deals like these don’t last forever!
