If Vancouver rain has you down, there’s no need to worry! The Strathcona Street Party returns on June 23rd for its second year to kick off summer and the third annual Vancouver Mural Festival.

Hosted by VMF, the Strathcona BIA, and other partners, four new murals will be featured alongside plenty of exiting activities.

The party will involve free family friendly fun. This includes live art demos, an all-ages beer garden by Vancouver Craft Beer Week, a relaxing Oasis Lounge by Public Disco, DJ sets by Chapel Sound, emcee and DJ workshops, food trucks, colouring contests and more.

There are also fantastic opportunities to learn about local organizations that support the community in different ways. This includes Raycam Cooperative Centre, Tradeworks Social Enterprise, EWMA a program of Atira Women’s Resource Society and Watari Counselling & Support Services.
So whether you want to grab a breath of fresh air, meet new people, or vibe to cool music and beautiful art, the street party has a little something for everyone.
