Vancouver was recently named the unhappiest city in Canada; however, it might be impossible to have a bad time on a fun filled Mexico cruise.
This California/Mexico cruise is a steal, and it is easily accessed with a cheap, round-trip flight from Vancouver for under $300 CAD with tax included.
The cruise departs out of LA on Sunday, December 9th and returns on Thursday, December 13th. In addition to Mexico, the ship also stops in beautiful Catalina Island, California.
With 12 bars and lounges, a comedy club, a theatre, 6 hot tubs, 2 pools, 4 discos, waterslides, mini-golf, spas, arcades, and so much more, you’ll never feel bored on this non-stop party vessel!
The fare includes all your meals, snacks, entertainment and lodgings for all four nights. Alcohol isn’t included, but you can purchase drink packages to help manage the cost of that expense.

Mexico Cruise
You’ll have to purchase a flight separately, but round-trip Vancouver to Los Angeles flights are usually under $300 CAD if you purchase them in advance.
Los Angeles is home to a plethora of phenomenal entertainment venues. There are beautiful beaches, exquisite dining options, luxurious shopping areas, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Once you are in California there are a multitude of other tourist destinations to discover. You can make your way to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld, Legoland, and many others.
In addition, you’ll get a taste of the Hollywood Hills as well as a margarita on the sun-soaked beaches in Mexico.
Travel Tip: Always book your cruising excursions in advance! You only have a certain amount of time in each port and you want to make the most of your time to be sure to have a plan ready. You can book these activities through the cruise line or make plans yourself, but if you make them with the ship then you are guaranteed a stressless return to your cabin – always a good call when on holiday.
