There are usually a vast number of stars in Hollywood North at any time; however, you have to check out the amazing TV shows filming in Vancouver this August.
While a few shows are wrapping up, there’s a variety of new additions that will film throughout the Lower Mainland.
So, be sure to look out for your favourite stars in these exciting productions!
TV Shows Filming in Vancouver
Last Month
There were a number of TV shows filming in and around Vancouver in July including a few that wrapped up:
Take Two, the buddy cop show but with a disgraced actress and private investigator, wrapped up its first season last month. The summer-filler aired at the end of June on ABC and stars Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian.
Canadian sci-fi series Travelers finished filming its third season which is expected to air later this year on Showcase and Netflix. It stars and is produced by Vancouver’s own Eric McCormack.
Netflix drama The Order completed its first season 10-episode order in town as well while the pilot for Motherland wrapped up a three week production. Over on Vancouver Island, the third season of Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores wrapped up and premieres August 5.
Filming This Month
August is heating up outside and on screen as there are over 20 television series scheduled for production in and around Vancouver. Genres vary from superhero to family drama while they’re being filmed for cable & network television as well as streaming platforms.
A Million Little Things
The international cast of ABC’s new family drama series features Vancouver’s own Grace Park who is known for Edgemont, Battlestar Galactica and Hawaii Five-O. It airs on September 26.

The pilot episode for TNT’s adaptation of the Korean movie of the same name shot in town last summer. It’s also based on a French graphic novel. It stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs. Netflix will distribute it internationally.
