Trevor Linden has joined in on the “Ice Bucket Challenge” that’s making rounds on social media.
The Ice Bucket Challenge asks people to dump a bucket of ice water on their head. If they don’t, they’re asked to make a $100 donation. Many celebrities and athletes who have accepted the challenge still make the donation. Once you compete the challenge, you can nominate someone else to do it.
The social media trend is to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gherig’s disease.
Trevor Linden posted a video from the Vancouver Canucks Instagram account of himself completing the ice bucket challenge. Seconds before doing so, Linden nominated Pavel Bure, Markus Naslund and Stan Smyl.
