It may seem like the last thing you want to do after a long day at work—but check out some of these trails and hikes that are an awesome way to get some exercise in and enjoy the great outdoors.

Pacific Spirit Regional Park

Take a leisurely stroll through the many trails of Pacific Spirit to get some much needed fresh air after a long day at work.

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time: 1-3 hours depending on route
  • Distance: Up to 10 km
  • Elevation Gain: Minimal

Dog Mountain

The perfect post-work hike from Mount Seymour that offers amazing views.

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Time: 2 hours
  • Distance: 5 km
  • Elevation Gain: Minimal

Quarry Rock

Capilano Pacific Trail

Grouse Grind

BCMC Trail

Located next to the Grouse Grind—the BCMC trail is a less-crowded alternative. It starts off at the same place as the Grind but then breaks off into the Baden Powell trail.

  • Distance: 3 km
