Tim Hortons canned soup, anyone?
Beginning this past week, Canadians will be able to find Tim Hortons canned soup on the shelves of a few select retailers.
Those retailers are:
- Save On Foods
- Shoppers Drug Mart
- FreshCo
- Sobey’s
- Fed Coopand
The canned soup that will be available are just like the soups served in-store, just without the preparation. At the moment, four flavours will be available:
- Chicken Noodle Soup
- Cream of Broccoli Soup
- Chicken & Rice Soup
- Homestyle Chili

Each of the three soups will be available in 540mL cans, for $3.29. Meanwhile, the chili will be available in a smaller, 398mL can, for $3.79.
Prices listed are “suggested” prices, and could potentially vary depending on the retailer.
Just last week, the fast-food chain introduced a new Kit Kat-inspired menu. Earlier this summer, Tim Hortons introduced Beyond Meat breakfast sandwiches, as well as Beyond Meat burgers, only to pull them out of all markets besides B.C. and Ontario.
Canadians seem to be divided on Tim Hortons, oftentimes voicing complaints about the chains food and food preparation. Perhaps canned soup will be less divisive.
