Walk Through Vancouver’s Brand-New Hologram Zoo

Hologram Zoo Vancouver is one of the city’s newest attractions, and it’s definitely not your typical zoo visit. It opened in June 2026 and uses holographic projections to bring life-sized animals to life all around you.
The experience takes about an hour, with different themed worlds to explore and a hologram photo experience at the end. It’s also completely indoors, making it a great option for a rainy or really hot day.

Play Mini Golf in the Middle of Stanley Park

Stanley Park might not be new, but this experience definitely is.
A brand-new 18-hole mini golf course opened at the Stanley Park Train site on July 1, and it’s a fun little twist on a Stanley Park day. The first nine holes are more beginner-friendly, while the back nine get a bit trickier. You can do nine or all 18, depending on how long you want to stay.

Step Inside the Solar System With AR

If your little ones are into space, this is such a fun way to explore it. The AR Solar System Tour lets ages five and up put on a headset and walk around as planets and space scenes appear all around them. It’s interactive, educational, and a lot more exciting than just looking at a screen.

Become a Pirate and Sail Around Vancouver

This one is such a fun pick if your little ones love pretend play. Pirate Adventures takes you on a 75-minute cruise from Granville Island aboard the Black Spirit, where children get pirate names, face paint and gear before heading out to solve clues, hunt for treasure and even join a water-cannon battle.
It feels like a boat ride, live show and pirate adventure all in one.
