Lights | Heritage Christmas

A season of old-fashioned fun and spectacular light displays is what Heritage Christmas is all about. This winter wonderland is now open until Friday, January 5th, 2018. Stroll through the streets of the Village to see wreaths, cedar swags and vintage-themed displays.
Drinks | Shiny Tea Lougheed Store Grand Opening
Shiny Tea is having its grand opening at Lougheed Mall on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017. Guests will be able to get a medium panda milk tea for only $0.25.
Culture | Mochitsuki Day

End the year with a mighty mochi pounding! Join this event to experience this traditional Japanese activity, watch the pros, and try your hand at pounding rice to make sticky, gooey, irresistible mochi. It takes place on Friday, December 29th with free admission.
Skating | Pat Quinn Toonie Skate
Join the Pat Quinn Toonie Skate on Saturday, December 30th at Bill Copeland Sports Centre. It starts at 5:00 p.m. and goes until 8:00 p.m.
Skating | New Year’s Eve Toonie Skate

Take part in the New Year’s Eve Toonie Skate for ice skating, face painting and crafts to celebrate the New Year. It takes place at Kensington Recreation Complex from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

More than 50 tables will be lined up at the Confederation Community Centre Flea Market on Saturday, January 27th, 2018. Admission is free.

Metamorphosis Butoh explores the spirit of death and rebirth, a recurring theme in the Japanese aesthetic of Butoh. You can catch this performance at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts from Wednesday, February 21st – Saturday, February 24th, 2018.

The Quilt Expo is coming to Burnaby on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018. Taking place at Edmonds Community Centre, stroll through a beautiful exhibit of quilts on loan from the Pacific Spirit Quilters Guild. Admission is free.
