Temperatures To Sizzle Over 30°C In Metro Vancouver For The First Week Of August

The first week of August promises to deliver some uncharacteristically hot beach days this year.

Starting on Monday July 31st, temperatures will reach over 25°C, starting out the week on a high. The skies will be completely clear, without a cloud to be seen. The lowest temperature it will reach at night will be 16°C.

After that the weather takes a sharp turn upward with summer weather soaring to 28°C on Tuesday. Once again, the evening will stay very warm with not the temperature not dropping below 16°C. The UV Index will also reach a level of 8 or “very high” according to Environment Canada, which indicates that the sun’s rays are extremely strong. Always remember to wear sunblock and protective clothing in order to prevent skin damage from exposure.

On Wednesday the temperature will reach over 29°C and then by Thursday we will see it soar past a scorching 30°C.

After Thursday temperatures will begin to drop down a few degrees, but the skies are set to remain completely clear all week.
