If you’ve been spotting Suntail around B.C. lately, there’s now another way to try the Canadian tequila cocktail brand.

Suntail Drink Co. has officially landed on the cocktail menu at all three King Taps locations in British Columbia, with a new Watermelon Lemon Spritz available in North Vancouver, Langley and Kelowna.

And the price might make it worth adding to your next happy hour stop. The Suntail Watermelon Lemon Spritz is $7 during happy hour, or $13 regularly.

The cocktail is built around Suntail’s Sandia flavour and combines tequila, lemon, watermelon, soda and a lime margarita slush. It’s a fruit-forward combination that brings Suntail’s familiar watermelon flavour into a full restaurant cocktail rather than simply serving the ready-to-drink version straight from the can.

“King Taps has been a dream partner for us. There’s a natural fit between our brands, our customers and the kind of experience we want people to have with Suntail,” said Ken Sanghera, CEO and Co-Founder of Suntail Drink Co.

“Seeing Suntail named on the menu across all three BC locations is a meaningful step for our company. We’re excited to introduce more people to the brand in a setting where they can try something new and enjoy it with friends.”

You can find it at all three B.C. King Taps locations

The new cocktail is available at King Taps in North Vancouver’s Lonsdale Quay, Langley’s Willowbrook area and downtown Kelowna. King Taps currently operates three restaurants in B.C., alongside its Toronto locations.

The North Vancouver restaurant is the newest of the three, opening at Lonsdale Quay in May 2025. The massive two-storey waterfront location includes two bars, two patios and room for more than 325 guests.

For Suntail, being available across all three restaurants gives the brand a presence in three very different B.C. markets.

It also puts Suntail in front of customers who might not necessarily be shopping for a canned cocktail at a liquor store.

Suntail has been showing up all over B.C.

The King Taps partnership is the latest in what has been a busy stretch for Suntail. Earlier this year, the brand’s Sandia and Citrón flavours took the top two selling spots at Vancouver’s Legacy Liquor Store for February.

Since then, Suntail has increasingly pushed into places where people are actually gathering, eating, watching sports and going out.

The company also recently expanded outside British Columbia for the first time, bringing its lineup into Calgary and Edmonton as part of a broader Western Canadian growth strategy.

The King Taps deal takes that strategy one step further by putting the Suntail name directly onto a cocktail menu.

And this one isn’t going away

Unlike a limited-time collaboration, the Suntail Watermelon Lemon Spritz is being positioned as an ongoing menu offering at King Taps. That means there’s no immediate rush to try it before it disappears.

Still, at $7 during happy hour, it could be an easy excuse to check it out sooner rather than later. The Suntail Watermelon Lemon Spritz is now available at King Taps locations in North Vancouver, Langley and Kelowna.
