Fall just started and the white powder is already in the forecast. A snowfall warning in BC has been issued for Muncho Lake Park – Stone Mountain Park.
Snowfall Warning In BC
According to Environment Canada, snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
“A slow moving disturbance will begin to produce snow over the Muncho Lake Park – Stone Mountain Park region late today and into tonight” reads the weather statement.
As a result, 10 to 15 cm of snow will fall over eastern sections of the region near Tetsa River by Friday morning. Likewise, western sections of the region near Tetsa River will only see a few centimetres of snow.
People are asked to be cautious when driving and be aware of changing road conditions as the day moves along.
