You don’t have to travel to Napa Valley or even to the Okanagan to stumble across vast vineyards, stunning landscapes and charming wineries. Abbotsford’s Seaside Pearl Winery just may be one of the Fraser Valley’s best kept secrets.

The hidden gem has only been around for one year and is in the gateway of the Fraser Valley’s wine country—the serene Mount Lehman.

The small Estate Winery owned by David and Allison Zimmerman—has a unique charm, with tastings done inside a quaint chapel. Allison tells 604 Now that she always believed church and wine went hand in hand; therefore the idea of incorporating a chapel into their winery was born.

Less than an hour drive away from Vancouver—this slice of heaven is surrounded by mountains, rolling fields and quiet country roads.

Sip on a selection of wines at the tasting area inside the chapel or wander around the property glass-in-hand. Explore the vineyard or enjoy your glass of wine while watching the horses or cows over the fence of their neighbouring property.

It’s also home to a rustic and elegant barrel room that you can book for weddings or other important events.

They have a selection of new wines that include Reserve Petit Verdot, Pinot Gris, a signature Red Blend and a delicious sparkling wine.
